Chibi-Tomatie!
Chibi-Tomatie! is a high-octane, 2D precision platformer where every pixel matters and every mistake ends in a satisfying tomato splatter. Taking inspiration from classics like Super Meat Boy and Celeste, this demo puts your reflexes to the ultimate test across 10 brutal levels designed to make you sweat cry, laugh, and cheer.
The Challenge:
Navigate Chibi-Tomatie through a gauntlet of lethal hazards:
- Buzzing Sawblades: Frame-perfect timing is required to dodge these rotating death-traps.
- Swinging Spikeballs: Master the pendulum rhythm or face the spikes.
- The Dash: Use your air-dash to clear massive gaps and bypass danger at breakneck speeds.
Demo Features:
- 10 Hand-Crafted Levels: From introductory jumps to the final level 10 gauntlet.
- Speedrun Ready: An in-game timer tracks your performance down to the millisecond.
- Satisfying Game Feel/GAME JUICE: Featuring custom dust particles, screen-shake, squash-and-stretch, and a "slow-mo" death system for maximum impact.
- Full Controller Support: Play with your favorite gamepad (X-Input recommended) for the tightest control possible.
- Audio Options: Toggle music and SFX with a dedicated mute system.
COMMUNITY CHALLENGE: Post your final "Saved Time" and "Death Count" in the comments below!
NOTICE: Feel free to list any bugs/suggestions, and I'll try my best to fix those bugs and tweak/add your suggestions as I continue to develop this game in order to make Chibi-Tomatie a better experience for everyone.

Hello Joshington!
It's a cool game! But I guess you should make the tomato splash a little bit more juicy.
It looks very rigid.
Maybe this kind of particle would look great Devlogs of my first platformer game! - Showcase / In Development - Godot Forum
Ok, first of all, the splash works just fine, and secondly, I aimed it to have a slow-mo effect at the start, and then after a few seconds, the time scale goes back to 1, and the level restarts.
